Personal introduction
Same person, every walk, since May 2019.
I'm a solo, owner-operator dog walker. I'm not a franchise, I'm not a roster of strangers, and I'm not running a quiet sub-contracting operation behind a brand name. When you book The Dog Enthusiast, I'm the one who picks your dog up, walks them, rinses them down and brings them home.
I keep groups to a maximum of four because that's the most I can give real attention to. I match dogs by temperament and energy, not just availability. The aim is the same every day: dogs come back tired, happy, and properly looked after.
I'm honest with owners about what these walks are — fully off-lead, high-energy, social. That's not the right walk for every dog, and I'd rather say so up front than learn the hard way.

Licensed. Insured. First-aid trained.
City of London Licence
Licensed under the City of London Corporation Professional Dog Walkers Licence Scheme — the official permit required to walk dogs commercially on Hampstead Heath. Reference DWL-742955574, valid through 28 August 2026.
Pet Business Insurance
Fully insured with Pet Business Insurance, including £2,000,000 Public Liability and £25,000 cover for Injury to Animals. I'm also a proud Pet Business Insurance Ambassador.
First Aid for Dogs
Certified by First Aid for Pets in a 3-hour First Aid for Dogs course covering Emergency Life Support and common veterinary emergencies. CPD verified. Refreshed regularly.

A van built for dogs
A 2024 Citroën Berlingo, fully crated, air-conditioned, with cooling fans for warm weather and heating for winter. Comfortable individual beds and fresh drinking water on every trip — no overheating, no piling in.
Bodycam on every walk
Walks are recorded on bodycam as a transparency and accountability measure. Footage is automatically deleted on a weekly cycle — it's there if something needs reviewing, not stored indefinitely.
Commitment, both ways
I ask for a minimum of two walks per week so dogs get real consistency. In return: no cancellation fees, no retainer fees, no holiday-holding fees, and I show up regardless of weather.
Collection route
Local. Properly local.
I'm based in Kentish Town and run the collection route north into Hampstead. If you're on this line, I can pick up.
